英文中，霧霾可以用haze表示。霧霾天氣則可譯為hazy weather。例：The hazy weather would continue until Wednesday in Beijing, local meteorologists said. 除了有霧霾的意思，haze作名詞還有薄霧，迷糊的意思;另外作動(dòng)詞時(shí)還有變模糊、戲弄的意思。
