　　doubt、do的用法

　　1、doubt??v.& n.懷疑，不相信

　　doubt of…對……（抱）懷疑或悲觀（態度）

　　從句在否定句及疑問句中多跟that引起的從句，在肯定句中多跟whether(if)引起的從句。

　　I doubt the truth of this report.

　　②They have never doubted of success.

　　③I don’t doubt that you are honest.

　　④Can you doubt that he will win?

　　⑤I? doubt if that was what he wanted.

　　該詞作名詞時有以下短語

　　beyond(all)doubt毫無疑問；in doubt懷疑，猶豫，不肯定；no doubt肯定地，想必；without doubt毫無疑問，一定地

　　The truth of the story is beyond doubt.

　　②I was in doubt about what to do.

　　③No doubt I learned a lot from that lecture.

　　④Without doubt these theories were all wrong.

　　2、do walking ?步行

　　“do + 動名詞”結構表示“干某事，有較靈活的譯法。do reading(讀書)/washing(洗衣服)/cooking(做飯)/shopping(買東西)/cleaning(打掃除)等。

　　3、do up 收拾（東西）、整理、梳裝打扮、系（扣）好……
