1. There we put up our tents and made a fire to keep us warm and cook food on.
(1) put up 在本句中是“搭建”的意思,put up 還有“張貼;舉起;抬起”之意。例如:
They put up a tent to live in. 他們搭起了一個帳篷來住。
He’s putting up a picture on the wall. 他正把一幅圖畫貼在墻上。
If you have any question, put up your hands. 你們?nèi)绻袉栴},就舉起手來。
(2) 與put 有關(guān)的短語: put on “穿上”
put off
“推遲;拖延”
put away “把……收起來放好”
(3) keep us warm 是keep + n./意思pron.+ adj. 結(jié)構(gòu),意思為“使……處于某種狀態(tài)”。例如:
We should keep our classroom clean. 我們應(yīng)該保持教室干凈。

(1) each other 意為“互相”。例如:
We should help each other. 我們應(yīng)該互相幫助。
each與every的區(qū)別
① each 指一定數(shù)目中的“每一個;個別”,意思較重,表示各有不同,更強(qiáng)調(diào)個人或個別。例如:
Each one has a book. 每個人都有一本書。
② every 指數(shù)目不確定的許多人或事物中間的“每一個”,含有“總和”的意義較重,表示“大家”。例如:
Every day is beautiful. 每天都是美好的。
③ each 指兩個或兩個以上的人或事物,every 指三個或三個以上的人或物。例如:
There are some trees on each side of the road. 公路的每一側(cè)都有一些樹。(each side = both sides, 這個句子中的each 不能用every 代替)
④ each 后面可跟“of +復(fù)數(shù)名詞/ 代詞”,動詞仍然要用單數(shù),every 不能接of 短語,因為every 為形容詞,只能作定語;另外each在句中可作同位語和狀語。例如:
Each of the students has a new book. 每個學(xué)生都有一本新書。
We each have a new book. 我們?nèi)巳硕加幸槐拘聲?同位語)
These pens are 10 yuan each. 這些鋼筆每只10元。(狀語)
3. I was so tired that I went to sleep early.
(1) so…that意為“如此……以至于”,常與too…to 或者not……enough to 互相替換。例如:
My brother is so young that he can’t go to school. 我弟弟太小了不能上學(xué)。
= My brother is too young to go to school.
=My brother isn’t old enough to go to school.
(2) such 與so 的使用
such 用來修飾名詞,so 用來修飾形容詞或副詞,兩詞都可與that從句連用。
a/an + adj.+ 單數(shù)名詞
such +
adj.+不可數(shù)名詞
adj.+復(fù)數(shù)名詞
adj./adv.
so +
adj.+ a/an +單數(shù)名詞
many/much/few/little +可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)/ 不可數(shù)名詞
例如:
We had such a boring weekend. 這個周末我們過得很無聊。
=We had so boring a weekend.
It’s a waste of time to ask so many people to do so little work. 讓這么多的人干這么少的活真是浪費(fèi)時間。
