考點一:介詞+關系代詞
提醒:介詞﹢關系代詞引導的定語從句, 關鍵是判斷介詞的選擇.
方法一:根據從句中動詞與介詞習慣搭配
e.g.：1. In the dark street，there wasn't a person to whom she could turn for help．
Ask: Why do we choose to instead of other preps.?

考點二
Whose 用法及轉換形式
1. whose引導定語從句，其后應緊跟名詞，構成名詞短語。
那位就是作品極受歡迎的孩子。
2.whose引導定語從句，其先行詞不僅可以指人，還可以指物。
封面是綠色的那本書在你的書包里。
3. whose的先行詞指物或人時, 可用of which/whom代替, 但詞序不同，即whose+名詞
= the +n +
of which/whom
=of which /whom+ the + n.
e.g.：He lives in the room whose window faces south.（change the sentence with the +n + of which and of which + the + n.）

考點三：as與which引導的定語從句
兩者均可引導非限制性定語從句，有時可以互換，其區別如下：
1.as引導的定語從句可以放在句首，而which 引導的從句不可以。
e.g. As is often the case, he was late for class.
=He came late for class today, which/as is often the case.
午飯后他通常休息一會兒，是他的習慣。
2.從意義上講，as 指代的是作為一般人都知道的常識性的東西，因此常譯成“就象……那樣、正如所……的” , 常與be known，be said，be reported等連用；而which沒有這層意思，且從句一般用主動形式。
As is known to all, the earth is round.
She didn’t pass the exam, which made her parents very angry.
眾所周知，愛迪生發明電燈。
星期天還得上班，她不喜歡。
3.which 的先行詞既可以是整個句子，也可以是單個名詞，但as 的先行詞多為整個句子。
e.g. The meeting, which was held in the park, was a success.
The meeting was a success, as was expected.
那本書，魯迅所著，已經被翻譯成英語了。
4. 當與such或the same連用時，一般用as。
e.g. Such books as you recommend are interesting.
I bought the same book as you.
作文中，你所犯的錯誤非?；?。
我們做與他們做一樣的工作。
5.若從句的內容與主句的內容一致時，用as;
反之，用which.
She was married again, as was expected.
She was married again, which was unexpected.
他被選為班長，是公平的。
他被選為班長，是不公平的。

考點四:關系代詞和關系副詞的比較

Ask:
1). Why do we choose that instead of where?
Here in this sentence, visit is a vt. Verb. It should follow an object. So we choose a relative pron.
2) Look at No.2.Why do we choose where instead of that?
It means she had wiped her hands on her trousers. There is no prep. on. So we have to choose a relative adverb. Here where can be replaced by on which.
So where在定語從句中作地點狀語，相當于“介詞+ 關系代詞（which）”。
This is the house where I lived two years ago. （用介詞+ 關系代詞替換where）
in which
when在定語從句中作時間狀語，相當于“介詞+ 關系代詞（which）”。
I'll never forget the day when I joined the league. （用介詞+ 關系代詞替換when）
on which
why在定語從句中作原因狀語，相當于“介詞for+ 關系代詞（which）”。
