　　fault, weakness與mistake

　　weakness指弱點(diǎn)或不足之處，是通用詞，很少具有特殊的詞義色彩。

　　(2)manner通常用單數(shù)形式，其后可以接“of＋動(dòng)名詞”。主要表示個(gè)人喜歡采用的方式，而且manner不用于表示傳統(tǒng)或習(xí)俗所形成的方式方法。

　　(3)way可數(shù)名詞，最通用，可以用來代替前面的任何一個(gè)詞。其后可以接to do...，也可以接“of＋動(dòng)名詞”。

　　(4)means單復(fù)數(shù)形式相同，當(dāng)該詞前加a, this, that, every等時(shí)，表單數(shù)意義；當(dāng)前面加such, these, those, all等時(shí)，表復(fù)數(shù)意義。means多指抽象的或概括性的方法。
