a little boy invited his mother to attend his elementaryschool’sfirst teacher-parent conference. to the little boy sdismay, shesaid she would go.

although she was a beautiful woman, there was aseverescar that covered nearly the entire center side of her boynever wanted to talk about why or how she got the scar.

at the conference, the people were impressed by the kindnessandnatural beauty of his mother despite the scar, but the littleboywas still embarrassed and hid himself from everyone. hedid,however, get within earshot of a conversation between hismotherand his teacher, and heard them speaking.

很多孩子到了青春期就出現(xiàn)很多問題，可小雨卻沒有。閑暇的時候，人們經(jīng)常看到小雨的父母和小雨一起散步，一起聊天，一起交流人生，那種溫馨真是讓人羨慕。

曾小雨的爸爸在北京工作，媽媽在濰坊的醫(yī)院工作，平時很忙，但是不論多忙，兩口子都沒有忽視小雨的成長。剛上小學(xué)，媽媽就很重視她的英語學(xué)習(xí)。曾小雨在雙語學(xué)校上小學(xué)，英語課比一般學(xué)校要多。媽媽謙虛地說自己聽不懂英語，但會給孩子買各種英語書和磁帶。家里在任何時候都放著英語磁帶，不強(qiáng)求孩子聽，但是一直放著，培養(yǎng)孩子的語感。

當(dāng)很多孩子的家長看那些肥皂劇，孩子也跟著上癮，連做作業(yè)都寫不安穩(wěn)，心里總想著電視劇的情節(jié)及后面的劇情時，小雨的媽媽卻在給孩子放英語磁帶聽，不是逼孩子坐下來安靜地聽，而是不管吃飯、洗涮，還是睡前，都給孩子打開錄音機(jī)，放上英語磁帶。當(dāng)小雨有了一定的詞匯量，媽媽就和她一起看英文頻道的新聞。

對于她們來說，學(xué)好英語很簡單，就是得多聽多看多說。簡單，但是要堅持。

很多學(xué)生不愛學(xué)英語，因為我們中國學(xué)生在學(xué)英語的過程中，常常是前一個步驟還沒學(xué)就學(xué)下一個步驟，就像沒學(xué)會爬就先學(xué)跑。比如有好多中學(xué)生沒經(jīng)過學(xué)習(xí)字母、音標(biāo)的過程，以至于到了大學(xué)連字母的讀音都讀不正確，音標(biāo)也認(rèn)不全。許多學(xué)生到了初高中見了有音標(biāo)的單詞自己也不會讀，只是聽老師怎樣讀，自己就死記住單詞的讀音。

學(xué)習(xí)任何一門功課都是循序漸進(jìn)的，可在學(xué)英語時，我們學(xué)習(xí)的某些步驟被中斷了。因為這些步驟的中斷，學(xué)起來就比較困難，這也就是為什么有許多聰明的孩子數(shù)理化學(xué)得很好，就是對英語不感興趣。

無論在哪個英語學(xué)習(xí)階段，如果字母、音標(biāo)不熟的話，就該回過頭去補(bǔ)上這一課，因為這是最基礎(chǔ)最容易學(xué)習(xí)的，我們不能因為容易就輕視這些最簡單最基礎(chǔ)的知識學(xué)習(xí)，而學(xué)好這些能達(dá)到事半功倍的效果。

有的學(xué)生學(xué)的是啞巴英語，只是看，不讀，也不寫，這是事倍功半的方法。請你記住，學(xué)英語，要大聲朗讀。

還有的同學(xué)死記單詞，碰到比較長的生詞，一下子就想記住，連續(xù)不停地寫十遍二十遍，越寫越心煩，越懷疑自己的.記憶能力，這種學(xué)習(xí)方法在大學(xué)里都存在。碰到比較長的單詞不要死記，寫一兩遍，下一次碰到有個印象就行，有了印象，再遇到時就比較容易記住，而且你還可以過一段時間再復(fù)習(xí)。

學(xué)好英語的方法有很多,可歸結(jié)如下:

1、定期學(xué)習(xí)。每天學(xué)習(xí)一會兒比一周集中學(xué)幾個小時效果要好。所以請你每天擠出一點時間讀寫英語。要記住一篇課文，每天讀兩遍，一個星期就能讀14遍，這樣的記憶效果更佳，可是你把這些工作量集中在一個時間段落內(nèi)完成，一上午讀一篇課文14遍，只能讓你產(chǎn)生厭煩情緒，而且記憶效果還不行。

２、通過上下文記單詞，別靠死記單詞表。有的同學(xué)一見到課文生詞多就一個一個地記憶，并一次把每個單詞寫上十遍二十遍，還咒罵自己記憶力不行，其實不如一次記憶很多單詞多重復(fù)幾遍效果更佳。

３、不管對課文理解了多少，盡可能多讀。一個單詞出現(xiàn)在不同課文中三遍，你就能對這個單詞有深刻的印象，可你讀同一篇課文把這個單詞讀上十遍也不一定記住。

4、學(xué)會使用一些常用短語。

5、使用不同版本的教材。包括閱讀用的、聽力用的和語法用的。變化學(xué)習(xí)所用的教材，看不同的書，會更有興趣學(xué)。

6、盡可能手寫。拼寫通過手指是最容易被記住的，正是移動的鋼筆寫字時的記憶有助于正確拼寫。所以建議你抄寫句子或課文，抄寫也是一種思考方式。

7、經(jīng)常拿出以前的課本翻翻看看，這樣省去查詞典的時間，還給你一種學(xué)好英語很容易的感覺。

語言是一座堡壘，是需要強(qiáng)攻的。

利用別人經(jīng)常浪費(fèi)掉的時間，乘車等車時間，上飯前的時間。

如果你遵守這些規(guī)則，你會達(dá)到事半功倍的效果，而且要比別的同學(xué)學(xué)得輕松些。
