The US R&B talent is currently busy touring the world with her third album, I Am...Sasha Fierce. Wherever she goes, she makes it clear to her fans at the sold-out venues (場(chǎng)所) that their money is worth (值得) it.

I Am... is a two-disc set. One is the work of "Beyoncé", who is soft and romantic, the other her alter ego (另一個(gè)自己), "Sasha Fierce", who is proud and aggressive (強(qiáng)勢(shì)的). The album's opening song, If I Were A Boy, about her feelings that men live completely different lives from women, was number 1 in the UK singles chart (單曲榜) for weeks.

Beyoncé's new music offers a rare insight (領(lǐng)悟) into the two sides of the pop star. "I Am… is about who I am underneath (在……下面) all the makeup, the lights and all the exciting drama," she explained during an interview.

In real life, Beyoncé has been working hard to prove herself. After a huge success with the girl group Destiny's Child, she had her first album Dangerously In Love that earned her five Grammy Awards in 2004. In a history-making moment, Beyoncé sang the song At Last to Barack Obama and his wife Michelle for their first dance after his inauguration (就職典禮) in January.
